Willie Nasio, also known as Viliami Mavaetangi Okalani Nasio, is a professional Australian Boxer. Nasio is of Tongan descent and has gained recognition in the boxing world by ranking 9th in WBO Asia Pacific and 2nd in WBC – OPBF, among other regional rankings. Nasio's success in the ring has made him a notable figure in the sport, showcasing his skills and earning the respect of fans and opponents alike.

Willie Nasio's parents are both from Tonga but migrated over to New Zealand to find a better life for their children. Nasio was born and raised in New Zealand with 5 younger brothers making him the oldest of the 6 boys.
Nasio was also born into a religious family and prides himself on his good principles, instilled from a young age.
Nasio says "Growing up in South Auckland it wasn’t that hard to find fights as a teenager."
Nasio attended Wesley College & James Cook High and also enjoyed a year of high school in America. At 19 he served a two-year volunteer mission for the LDS church and that included serving the community and teaching Christian principles.
Nasio is married and lives on the Gold Coast. He has 3 boys who keep him fighting fit. He currently works as a support worker in a mental health facility.
He first stepped into a boxing gym in 2011.
